I'm Brigitte, the face behind LEJA STUDIO.

I love design, architecture, fashion and especially candles. I founded LEJA STUDIO in Stuttgart in 2022.

My candles are luxury pieces of the best quality in terms of workmanship and material - environmental compatibility and the avoidance of toxic ingredients such as paraffins, parabens and phthalates are particularly important to me. In addition, I only use vegan and animal-free raw materials.

Our designs, materials and raw materials are carefully selected and developed and meet our high quality standards. Our candles are made by us in elaborate manual work and with a lot of passion in our studio.

From the products to the packaging, we pay attention to sustainability and select materials that we can use with a clear conscience.

OUR RAPESEED WAX

The renewable raw material is produced in Germany and is purely vegan. We have short transport routes, which means fewer emissions and we work in a way that conserves resources. Canola wax is not a fossil fuel and contains no palm oil or petroleum.

OUR WICKS MADE FROM PURE COTTON

Our wicks are made of pure cotton and, like rapeseed wax, are produced in Germany.

OUR GLASSES

Our glasses are produced and cuttet by hand. They are made of thick, colored glass and are therefore of very high quality. After the scented candle has burned down, they can be used as a lantern, vase or other accessory.

OUR HIGH-QUALITY FRAGRANCES

Our high-quality fragrances are carefully selected, tested and checked. They are paraben and phthalate free, vegan friendly and animal cruelty free.

The fragrances comply with the standards of the INTERNATIONAL FRAGRANCE ASSOCIATION (IFRA) and the REACH regulations.

OUR PACKAGING

We largely do without plastic in our packaging. We pack our candles in fabric bags, as these are also intended to be reused. Cardboard boxes are usually disposed of after unpacking - our bags can live on. We found a partner, who is producing our bags fair and sustainable.
