CANDLE CARE

When developing our candles, we attach great importance to high quality of the materials and a particularly beautiful design.

We have put together a few tips for you so that you can enjoy your LEJA STUDIO candle for a long time.

FIRST USE

Allow your candle to burn for 2-3 hours the first time you use it, or at least until the surface is completely liquid.

WICK CARE

SHORT THE WICK

For the next use: trim the wick to 5 mm before each use. In this way, emissions of soot and black smoke can be minimized. A short wick also ensures that the wax is not used up too quickly and extends the life of the candle.

CENTRAL WICK

Make sure the wick maintains its central position. If necessary, slide the wick back into the center of the candle while the wax is liquid. This allows the candle to burn evenly.

Our tip: do not blow out the scented candle. Instead, use a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame.

USE A NON-INFLAMMABLE BASE

Since natural waxes, such as rapeseed wax, tend to drip when burning, we recommend always placing your LEJA STUDIO candle on a fireproof surface.

MAXIMUM BURNING TIME

Do not let your candle burn for more than four hours at a time. In addition, the candle should not burn down to the last residue - a wax edge of about 1 cm on the glass bottom can prevent overheating.
